From muscle monster to shapely blonde - anything is possible at this stage of life

A representative of professional wrestling - the martial arts that are distinguished from other martial arts by their athleticism and demonstration of physical fitness in front of an audience, with the results often scripted - she is focusing on entertainment and showmanship - but in a slightly different way.

In fact, superstar Tyler Rex, now under the new name of Gabbi Tuft, has shed more than a hundred kilos of muscle for one specific purpose: although the latter claimed at the time to be an "alpha male", it seems that she could not feel comfortable in her own skin, having recently undergone a drastic change to another one, undergoing an operation in order to become a woman[1].

In her public "curriculum vitae" on social media, she claimed to have weighed 280 kg in her "prime", with a body fat percentage of 6.2%. The transgender woman also revealed that she consumed around 10,000 calories a day, eating 9-10 meals a day, approximately every hour and a half, recalling that it was a lot of work to consume up to 300 g of protein a day when she was still in her male "persona". Now, Tuft runs a lifestyle consultancy and helps people who approach her to achieve their fitness and fitness goals.

She also revealed the big secret to losing weight: it's all in the head. According to Tuft, the most important thing is to be able to control food cravings - if you do, there will be no obstacles and you will reach your goal weight at the snap of a finger. Of course, just as important is to find the real reasons why you want to lose weight - if you answer the 'why', you will be successful and get tangible results.

The truth is that the latter started working out in high school when she was skinny and got a lot of ridicule. She has gained muscle through active participation in sports, and the bullying at school has disappeared from her life. Paradoxically, Tuft's decision to become a woman turned her life upside down: it was a major health challenge, not only because of the complex surgery and hormone therapy but also because of her body shape. According to the 260 kg muscle monster, she had to turn the other way (or go back to the way she started) and force her body to shed a huge amount of muscle[2].

His wife didn't find a man in a skirt attractive - which led to a divorce

In fact, the estrogen treatment not only caused a shock to the body but also quite a serious challenge to Tuft's marriage - whoever it was, his wife did not find her husband attractive when he was dressed in women's clothes...

However, the distinguished-looking personality reveals that she had a secret desire to explore her feminine side as early as high school but was faced with bans and punishments at the time. A radical change took place in her thirties when she dared to look again at her fragile side and started to try on women's clothes for the first time (the rest, as always, "came naturally").

In any case, even she herself cannot answer more precisely at the moment why she decided to change her gender. According to her, it is a psychological process - a kind of battle that is still going on in her head. Tuft is already in the process of divorce but nevertheless maintains a good relationship with his soon-to-be ex-wife; they have become best friends and are doing a good job as parents.

Although more and more people are aware that the use of exogenous androgens changes the brain physiologically and psychologically, especially in men due to the high doses, it is unfortunately not considered that their use contributes to a more rapid change in the way we see ourselves, which is even more conducive to transition. In fact, this is a respectful and thoughtful question for trans fanatics, aware that the endocrinological effect on the brain can be a disservice[3].

This is global warming (ahead of its time) or total perversion

What saddens many laypeople is not a fancy Christmas Santa but the absolute anomaly of normalizing this misery. However, if we open our eyes, we can see that genetics is genetics no matter how hard we try.

Despite the mixed feelings about the "silhouettes", back in 2021, 45-year-old Tuft admitted to being transgender and hinted at a return to wrestling in a pair of black skinny jeans and a leopard print belt. The latter, who has almost a million followers on her Ticktock account, revealed that she had lost around 100 kilograms since she came out as T. Rex, changing her diet and her fitness routine. If re-signed, Tuft would become the first transsexual wrestler in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) company[4]

Although she has never won a major tournament title in her WWE career, Tuft has won three championships in the company's former developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling: she won the FCW Heavyweight Championship as T. Rex and was a two-time FCW Tag Team Champion. In 2008, Tuft also signed a contract with WWE, and a year later, in 2009, she made her debut on the WWE ECW brand under the name Tyler Rex.
