Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump says he has a plan to end the war in Ukraine for sure
However, the 78-year-old politician told the Lexp Fridmanp website in an interview that he would only announce it if he wins the elections on 5 November.
"If I win, then as president-elect, I will reach an agreement - guaranteed," Trump said. "This war should never have happened," he added. Trump said he had a "very ambitious plan" to stop Ukraine and Russia.
He said he had an idea for China
"And I have an idea, maybe not a plan, but an idea for China", the former US President said.
However, he cannot reveal these plans now "because if I give you these plans, I cannot use them, they will not be successful". Trump has repeatedly boasted that he could end the war "within 24 hours", but has never explained how he intends to do so.
In his election battle, the real estate tycoon criticizes the billions of dollars of US aid to Ukraine.

The Kremlin supports Trump's victory in the presidential elections in principle but does not believe that his mediation would quickly resolve the Ukraine war.
"I don't think there is a magic wand. It can't be done in a day," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Russian television on Sunday.
He was commenting on Trump's claims that he could end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in a day.
