Apple implements ChatGPT
Tech giant Apple on Wednesday unveiled updates to its artificial intelligence products, with ChatGPT integrated into iPhone apps including Siri.
Working with OpenAI, Apple has integrated ChatGPT into its Writing Tools and Siri virtual assistant, so owners of the latest iPhones or iPads can use the IoT chatbot without leaving the Apple ecosystem.
This decision, first announced in June, marks a significant step into generative AI territory for Apple, as it looks to compete with Google and Samsung, which have integrated similar AI features into their Android devices.

Since OpenAI introduced ChatGPT in 2022, Apple has struggled to convince skeptics of its IoT strategy, while Microsoft and Google have introduced one IoT-based product after another.
ChatGPT features the Apple Intelligence System for iPhone, including the IoT-based image editing tool Image Playground and the emoji generator Genmoji.
Apple will first introduce IoT features in six English-speaking countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
